Day 01: Arrive in Delhi :- Meeting and assistance by our representative upon arrival at Delhi Airport and you will be transferred to your pre booked hotel. Delhi is a massive metropolitan city and a Capital of India located in north India. It has a history of many centuries and was the throne of many mighty empires in the past. Delhi has much more to discover. Explore the Historical monuments like Red Fort, Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb along with their famous temples too like Akshardham and Lotus Temple and ISKCON temple. Overnight stay at Delhi Hotel
Day 02: Delhi - Amritsar :- Take an early breakfast at Hotel. Meet with our representative at the Hotel lobby who will assist and transfer you to the Railway station for your train to Amritsar. Train departs at 0720 Hrs and arrives at Amritsar Junction at 1330 Hrs. Assistance upon arrival in Amritsar and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Later in the afternoon proceed for an excursion to Wagah Border about 30 km / 45 minutes. Now it is Attari border, an Indo-Pak border famous for the beating retreat ceremony held every evening. Lowering the flag and ceremony is a very exciting moment for both sides of people. After visiting, head back to Amritsar and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Amritsar – Delhi :- Breakfast at a Hotel. Check out and begin your sightseeing tour of Amritsar. Visit to the Golden Temple – It’s a Gurdwara named Sri Harmindar Sahib and religious place of worship for Sikhism. Visit to the community kitchen inside the Golden Temple complex. Langar is open for all to have meals free of cost. About half a lakh of people have food everyday. Golden Temple is a major tourist attraction of Amritsar. Also visit to the Jallianwala Bagh, has historic importance. On 13 April 1919, on the order of Colonel Reginald Dyer around 50 Soldiers of the British Indian Army fired on unarmed people who gathered on the occasion of Baisakhi at Jallianwala Bagh. It was a big massacre in Indian history. After the sightseeing of Amritsar, you will be transferred to Amritsar Airport for your onward flight / Railway station for your train to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our representative and who will transfer you to a Hotel in Delhi.
Day 04: Delhi – Departure :- Breakfast at a hotel. Check out and Proceed for the guided sightseeing tour of Delhi. Commence your tour by visiting the Red Fort – a UNESCO world heritage site. A beautiful historical monument built by Shahjahan, located in Old Delhi close to Chandni Chowk. Every year on Independence day the Prime Minister of India addresses the nation from Red Fort. After visiting Red fort, walk through the Chandni Chowk market and enjoy the Rickshaw ride by the busy Lane of Chandni Chowk. Later, continue to proceed for sightseeing in New Delhi. Visit to the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret of the world and a Indo-Islamic architecture in India. It is located in Qutab Complex. It is called the Victory Tower of Mughals and commencement of Muslim rules in India. Also visit Rajghat and drive through the India Gate, President House and Parliament House etc. Followed by the Delhi sightseeing tour, you will be Transferred to Delhi International Airport for your onward flight.
